On June 23rd we are hosting together with TMCnet a webinar titled “Unified Communication as key enabler for Telemedicine”. I called up Tomer Saar, our Product Manager for BEEHD for Desktop who is giving this webinar to give you some heads-up on the webinar. I interviewed Tomer on video.

On the webinar Tomer and Anatoli Levine, Sr. Director of Product Management – Americas, are going to talk about what it takes to add video communication to Telemedicine applications. They will review a few use cases and discuss the requirements for launching such a service.
Similar to my last speaking at the OESF session at Computex earlier this month, I think that one of the key requirements is a solution view. It is not enough to have a client or even a client on multiple platforms. The solution view must be addressed covering a few areas:
- Solution level interoperability – complete client and server interoperability
- Data center support – including integration with the SBC as we demonstrated at the Acme Packet event and reviewed on this blog post as well as other servers in the data center
- Value added services – requires dedicated servers in data center
- Control and management – can be implemented through a cloud based provided by RADVISION
In this context they will discuss how our BEEHD Solution helps realizing such a service.
