Android and The Speed of Innovation

Can something be at the same time in two different places?  As an engineer I should probably answer No, but this is exactly what’s happening with Google’s Android operating system these days: on one hand, it fast forwards every few months with another, leaving handset vendors scrambling to keep pace; on the other hand, it moves too slow for the rest of the market, waiting to see Android everywhere.

This is the theme of the guest post I wrote last week for VisionMobile, a market analysis firm that specializes in anything mobile. They have a great blog where every post is a must-read. Being given the opportunity to contribute was an honor for me.

Anyway, I took pain and effort to write that one, so if you are interested in Android, you might just want to head on there and read my post titled: The Tortoise and the Hare: The tale of Android evolution.
