About Ran Arad

Ran Arad is a veteran developer, and now a project manager, in the area of VoIP, AAA, 3G, and multimedia streaming protocols. He has developed tools for H.323, 3G-324M, RTSP, RTP, MEGACO, MGCP and Diameter, among others. As a project manager at RADVISION, Ran assists a large and growing number of protocol implementers and handset manufacturers who deploy RADVISION technology.
When Ran isn’t working on cutting-edge, ground shaking products, he likes spending time with his wife, Lital, their son, Itay and their PS2, Bertram (no, not really). Ran enjoys studying all that relates to culture, information and communication: urban legends, linguistics, digital communities, viral memes and more.
